3 Looks to mark The Queen’s 90th Birthday

As a UK blogger, I could hardly ignore the Queen’s special day … and, as a bit of fun, I’m marking the occasion with some royal birthday fashion. After looking through my wardrobe, I have put together 3 outfits using the colours of our national flag.

Red, white and blue

Cardigan – ancient cashmere that’s falling apart but I like it too much to throw it away (Westway & Westway); Blouse – ancient hand me down – (District); Jeans – (Karen Millen)

Blue, red & white

Jacket – (M&S petites); T-shirt – old – (Precis Petites); Jeans – (Mango)

White, blue & red
Cardigan – old (Monsoon); Skirt – Benetton; Top – old (not what it seems – secret reveal below!)

Secret reveal!

The blue top is actually the dress I wore inDSC_0013 my previous biker jacket post worn here as a top.  This is a neat little trick I saw on the US blogger Extra Petite‘s website.  I can’t find the actual post right now, but she also showed a dress with a top over it and cinched with a belt, so that the dress looked like a skirt! She has some fantastic ideas, so her website is well worth a visit, though I expect most people are already well aware of this!
